Things to remember

Rain is pouring hard
Sky is gloomy and dark
Rain brought back memories
This made her feel melancholic
And her thoughts went back to past
A past where she used to
Love the rain
Her heart danced in a merrier tune
As she remembered how he used to come
With his big umbrella,
And how he squeezed her under it,
With his big, warm hands,
How they walk along the roadway,
How she felt his warmth,
As he put his big warm hands,
Around her cold shoulders,
He was so considerate,
He treated her as if she is a delicate flower,
Her heart was glowing just by that thought,
But how things have changed,
How things were and are,
She hardly remembers a day,
Where both of them shared anything,
As now they are ‘happily married’,
A wonderful couple, a match made in heaven,
To many,
They can afford all the luxuries,
Chauffeurs, fancy cars,
Expensive dresses, flying around the world,
He is a busy body, who hardly has time for her,
They hardly speak, they hardly meet,
Life goes on, on and on,
She never complain as it is not her way,
She has lost the man once she was madly in love with
Rain brought back memories,
Memories she remembered with tears,
A past where everything was simple,
A past where she and he were together,
Together as ONE…

  1. Very good. I know how it feels when the honeymoon is over, and the realities of life set in. They also say that money can't always buy happiness. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
