Notes of music just like a raindrops, it comes from everywhere...

What is it about music that can just take over us?
A song can instantly cheer you up. It can just as quickly make you sad. A lullaby will put you to sleep, and when a
song you love comes on the radio you just want to get up and dance! A song featuring the lyrics ‘holy guacamole’ just made me laughs.
It’s one of the few things that everyone likes, and has an individual opinion about – and everyone’s opinion is different, and that’s what is expected. In the public forum we are expected to have opinions that fall into certain categories of the argument. People often expect that if your opinion of A is B than your opinion of C must be D, and if your opinion of C is, say X, then your opinion of A couldn’t possibly be B, but rather must be Z.

But with music it’s not the same. There are no constraints on the types of songs, or artists we prefer, based on what other types we prefer.
Any like or dislike, and any combination of the two is perfectly acceptable.

If your favorite song is a dead tie between Tchaikovsky’s ‘Romeo & Juliet –Fantasy Overture’ and Led Zeppelin’s ‘Stairway to Heaven’, it’s not only perfectly fine and normal, it might even be pretty cool. So, what is about music that we love? Is it a message the song delivers, in lyrics for example? Is it how the sound feels resonating through your body? Is it what you see when you close your eyes? Or does it just unexplainably make you smile, and make you happy?

Well, I’m not exactly sure. But I do know that everyone has a song that they will say they ‘love’ and they mean it.
It’s that one song that when they hear it, it just makes them genuinely happy, for whatever reason.

It’s something that will hold that a special place in your heart and that will have the same effect on you no matter when you hear it, be it in 5 minutes, or 5 years. ...er no, not like this...

So, this music you love, that’s so dear to your heart, where did it come from? How did you hear it? We are usually pointed to music by some source, the radio station, Pandora, a TV station, or show, any variety of websites designed to help us discover music, or even just a friend telling us.

So, to leave you with a few thoughts, since you didn’t find your music on your own, which has been making the decisions for you about one of the few things you, are completely entitled to your individual opinion about? Think I’m full of it? Tell me how you found a song you love, without any input from any one else

She so fake....

Hello readers! Today was really bad day for as some people just don't know how to quit! Well I'm talking about a girl in my class who are so hypocrite and pretending when there's my lecturer in front of her... not me even when my lecturer scold me....

I hate her from the very first beginning of our semester, since I'm learning Japanese I would like to call her 'B' ....ha stand for BUTANIKU!! ( Ah ~ That's better) Well maybe it was just me or not but when I first know her, I knew that our friendship will never last forever....whatever

Okay, last semester everyone felt sorry to one my so called friend ( yes, I don't think she my best friend anymore...ugh) saying that she had to do all the work from that BUTANIKU since they were in group together...she told us all in front of the class as if like she looking for sympathy or something but then when that BUTANIKU came in, she stop and pretending there's nothing happen...hmmm how HYPOCRITE YOU ARE ABBY!! Why? You think that she's really that great until you had to do whatever she tells you to do and ....be a pets for her? Please....

This so called BUTANIKU were actually not so great at all and not to mention that she always got almost C's for her result, which makes me think " I'm better, she so pity" ugh, just a thought about her makes me feel want to slap on her face.....( can I do that?)....apparently not

But can I do this?

Next another about class, everyone are so....okay the truth are ...Yes Pretending!! Yesterday we are divided into a few group where everyone don't want to be in group with BUTANIKU. My sister just shout as if she were giving a speech to everyone and announce that she don't to be in group with BUTANIKU. She everyone was like starring her and agree that they have same idea in mind. But not today I guest.

It just not right....Anyway, I rather be alone than be with people, it's because they simply can stab your back without you even notice it....My life full with Hypocrite people ....but my friend who's I called them 'Computer Lab members' hehehehe

Here's a qoute for BUTANIKU
"The true hypocrite is the one who ceases to perceive his deception, the one who lies with sincerity"

Emm....
What shall I write about her?....Nevermind forget about her, I'm better and she so pity.

Family always important ~~

Hi everyone, feeling great? Hmm...I thought so.
Well just now when I checked my Facebook page, one of my best send me a link which story about family and I thought I would like to share it with you ( I don't know whether you've been heard about this story before.....). I know, I know it's not really the time to discuss about it in here but hey, family's important I tell you people...

Okay, here's the story.....

Bob Richards, the former pole-vault champion, shares a moving story about a skinny young boy who loved football with all his heart. Practice after practice, he eagerly gave everything he had. But being half the size of the other boys, he got absolutely nowhere.

At all the games, this hopeful athlete sat on the bench and hardly ever played. This teenager lived alone with his father, and the two of them had a very special relationship.

Even though the son was always on the bench, his father was always in the stands cheering. He never missed a game. This young man was still the smallest of the class when he entered high school. But his father continued to encourage him but also made it very clear that he did not have to play football if he didn't want to.

But the young man loved football and decided to hang in there. He was determined to try his best at every practice, and perhaps he'd get to play when he became a senior.

All through high school he never missed neither a practice nor a game but remained a bench-warmer all four years. His faithful father was always in the stands, always with words of encouragement for him.

When the young man went to college, he decided to try out for the football team as a "walk-on." Everyone was sure he could never make the cut, but he did.

The coach admitted that he kept him on the roster because he always puts his heart and soul to every practice, and at the same time, provided the other members with the spirit and hustle they badly needed.

The news that he had survived the cut thrilled him so much that he rushed to the nearest phone and called his father. His father shared his excitement and was sent season tickets for all the college games. This persistent young athlete never missed practice during his four years at college, but he never got to play in a game.

It was the end of his senior football season, and as he trotted onto the practice field shortly before the big playoff game, the coach met him with a telegram. The young man read the telegram and he became deathly silent.

Swallowing hard, he mumbled to the coach, "My father died this morning. Is it all right if I miss practice today?" The coach put his arm gently around his shoulder and said, "Take the rest of the week off, son. And don't even plan to come back to the game on Saturday."

Saturday arrived, and the game was not going well. In the third quarter, when the team was ten points behind, a silent young man quietly slipped into the empty locker room and put on his football gear. As he ran onto the sidelines, the coach and his players were astounded to see their faithful teammate back so soon. "Coach, please let me play.

I've just got to play today," said the young man. The coach pretended not to hear him. There was no way he wanted is worst player in this close playoff game.

But the young man persisted, and finally feeling sorry for the kid, the coach gave in. "All right," he said. "You can go in." Before long, the coach, the players and everyone in the stands could not believe their eyes.

......
You there? Okay.

This little unknown, who had never played before was doing everything right. The opposing team could not stop him. He ran, he passed, blocked, and tackled like a star.

His team began to triumph. The score was soon tied. In the closing seconds of the game, this kid intercepted a pass and ran all the way for the winning touchdown. The fans broke loose. His teammates hoisted him onto their shoulders. Such cheering you never heard.

Finally, after the stands had emptied and the team had showered and left the locker room, the coach noticed that this young man was sitting quietly in the corner all alone. The coach came to him and said, "Kid, I can't believe it. You were fantastic! Tell me what got into you? How did you do it?"

He looked at the coach, with tears in his eyes, and said, "Well, you knew my dad died, but did you know that my dad was blind?" The young man swallowed hard and forced a smile, "Dad came to all my games, but today was the first time he could see me play, and I wanted to show him I could do it!"

Here's the quote about the story
Any man can be a father. It takes someone special to be a dad... And his guiding hands on our shoulders will remain with us forever.

Ah ~~ Thats really moved me into tears.....

Oh well, I guest somebody might moved to tears already huh? That's okay, just pretend that there's dust in your eyes but if I were you I might turn into this hehehehehe God blessed us all anyway...

Give them a let out clause

If you feel the lie is about something important, then look for external validation of what they are saying. Without hiring a private eye, check, if you can, that they were with Fred last night and not with the sultry blonde from the office.

For some liars, it may be almost a relief to come clean. If you’re pretty sure they are fibbing, then confront them. But rather than: “You are such a liar!”, take responsibility for your own doubts: “I’m having real trouble believing this!” Then tell them exactly why you don’t believe them.

They may try to reassure you or become angry because you doubt them (and both reactions could be a sign of lying or not lying). Tell them that you’d rather hear the truth because none of this makes sense to you. Resist the temptation to hurl accusations, which can be used by them to change the subject onto how you never believe them. Even if they don’t admit the lie at this point, it’s enough that they know you are doubtful.

So to spot a lie, you need to:

Listen to how much they say - if they’re not saying much about something, they may be lying to you.
Listen for how much they distance themselves from what they’re saying by not connecting to it with “I, me, me, and mine…” Also, do they describe how they feel about what they’re discussing? - Not using feeling words may be further evidence of self-distancing.
Notice whether they’ve suddenly developed a super-memory for lots of details about which you’d normally expect someone to be naturally vague.
Notice if they seem over-eager and relieved to change the subject.
Pay attention to whether they’re overly defensive.
Remember that not being told important stuff is still a lie.
Confront them when you are pretty sure you are being lied to. Give them the opportunity to come clean. And remember it helps to have external evidence that what they’ve told you is an untruth.
Finally, don’t feel bad about having been taken in by someone; as we’ve seen, telling if someone is lying isn’t as easy as we all assume it is. When you trust someone, you give them the opportunity to behave like a reasonable human being; if they then waste that opportunity that is a reflection of them, not you.

Things to remember

Rain is pouring hard
Sky is gloomy and dark
Rain brought back memories
This made her feel melancholic
And her thoughts went back to past
A past where she used to
Love the rain
Her heart danced in a merrier tune
As she remembered how he used to come
With his big umbrella,
And how he squeezed her under it,
With his big, warm hands,
How they walk along the roadway,
How she felt his warmth,
As he put his big warm hands,
Around her cold shoulders,
He was so considerate,
He treated her as if she is a delicate flower,
Her heart was glowing just by that thought,
But how things have changed,
How things were and are,
She hardly remembers a day,
Where both of them shared anything,
As now they are ‘happily married’,
A wonderful couple, a match made in heaven,
To many,
They can afford all the luxuries,
Chauffeurs, fancy cars,
Expensive dresses, flying around the world,
He is a busy body, who hardly has time for her,
They hardly speak, they hardly meet,
Life goes on, on and on,
She never complain as it is not her way,
She has lost the man once she was madly in love with
Rain brought back memories,
Memories she remembered with tears,
A past where everything was simple,
A past where she and he were together,
Together as ONE…

'K' Stands for Kundasang !

Hello readers! Another post about my trip with friends but this time free from all rules and lecturer! Ha~ Okay, here's the story...

Date:
18th - 19th December 2010

Place:
Kundasang, Desa Farm, Kundasang War Memorial, Hot Spring

Trip's members:
Esther Donny, Judy Bea Wong(Judy), Georgianne George (Jojo), Sharon Lentz, Azmi, Gary Ting Kha King (Ting), Noralawaiyah (Mala), Fransisca Robert, Gerard Jerome (J.j), Siti Fatimah (Fatim), Siti Sahara (sara), Al-Nasdin ( Nash)

Dec 18th Day of the trip
Really a "blockbuster" trip for me coz it was my first time having a trip to Kundasang with my twins and all my friends. Well to be honest, me and my twin ever did a trip to Kundasang. Yup not even with our family as financial crisis always landed in our family.
Okay, first thing me and my twins do was ....of course waiting for others to come but since we come at 5:30am in the morning, we went to coffeeshop nearby and have a little hot drinks and talk about what we're going to do when we reach our destination. The departure time for this trip was actually at 7:30am but turned out that after waiting the others to come ( who's late...) we finally depart at 9:30am. Great! What a waste of time.

There's only about 13 people going to this trip which include the 2 of us. We're really excited as the scenery was really amazing! So all the remaining hour inside the van we busy admiring the beauty of nature and have fun moment together. The bus driver told us that Mount Kinabalu has it own uniqueness, legends and superstitious. He said that the early Kadazan/Dusun also used to believe that when a person dies, the soul will go up to Mount Kinabalu for R.I.P. It is therefore advisable that whenever one wants to climb the mountain, an offering must be made to the ‘pogigion’ or those dwellers around Kinabalu or something bad will befall on you ( Hmm...really?). I don't know about that but my mom used to told me not to say anything about going up there because the sprit would come to know of my intention and something terrible might happen.
“When you are climbing,” she said, “You must walk silently. Do not pluck anything or those dwellers will follow you home and make you sick”.
( mom used to climb the mmountain too)

My friend, Nash ( Al-Nasdin) were an international student ( from Philipines) was really excited after hearing about the tradition in Sabah, well since this was his first time too! Well I'm not really believe in superstitious or such but sometimes it's really attach to your way of living....sort of Karma I guest. So we stop for a while in Pekan Nabalu for short break and anyone who wish for photoshoot are welcome here.

First destination Poring Hot Spring which located approximately 47KM away from Kinabalu National Park passing through Kundasang and Ranau and guest what...the name Poring, stands for the tall bamboo plant that is abundant in that area. Whoa! Well since it's holiday, the place was really crowded with kids, tourist and of course teens like me....God, Save me!
What I don't like about that place during the were some old men with a bunch of kids who act like as if they were single again. Yikes! And a Korean mom yelling at her children which I think " poor kid". Some of our friends ( Judy and Esther)went for a swim, Gary Ting and Nash....I don't know where they going, Jojo, Lentz, and Azmi ...well eating lunch I guest. And lastly me and my twins with other 3 friends ( Mala, Fransisca, and Gerard) went to stroll the entire area of swimming pool.( Google the place you know the swimming area was not the kind that you got at home.
We manage take a few photo's

Well I can say was the first destination was not really a great place but pretty amazing though.

.....
Are you there? Okay.

On our next trip to 2nd destination, we stop by at a small market near Ranau to buy some goodies for us. And by goodies I mean food for vegan and non-vegan. So fresh and delicious too. Oh did I mention that we went there by using 2 van instead of 1? Yup, now you know.
Alright, another pit stops for us was near the Kundasang War Memorial ....we had to wait for another 6. While we wait, I notice that the place was getting colder and colder but the scenery was really great. And better I tell you! So many pine tree grew over here which are rare in South East Asia.15 minutes of waiting finally they arrived. Then my friend, Mala suggest that we better go to top of the hill where there's another tourist attraction which are the Desa Dairy Farm Kundasang. I was like ....WHAT!! But this place really a great place and I myself recommend you guys readers to go there if you have some time.

Desa Dairy Farm - the largest in Sabah with an area of 199 hectares, is located at the Mesilau Plateau, Kundasang about 30 minutes drive from Mt.Kinabalu National Park. The green meadows stretching all over the area was so refreshing at 2100 meters above sea level. We arrived just in time for the milking process. Hundreds of cows were rounded up for milking.

It was amazing that to see cows lining up or rather queuing up to the milking station without being guided. They knew exactly what to do!
And for the record, not just cows, but you also can see horses in here too!

My friends bought a few packages of this milk for home

Yes of course we take some picture of us

That's all of us hehehe

Look at those cows at the back...HA! they surely had good time too!

After a good long hours in Desa Dairy Farm and a few photos, we went back down the hill and directly toward the 3rd stop in our trip which are and finally the Kundasang War Memorial. The Kundasang War memorial was split into 4 garden - the Australian Garden, the English Garden, the Borneo Garden and the Contemplation Garden Pool.

Check it out!

Joyful moment

Before I continue, please grab some snack and drinks and enjoy the post. During the day we had so much fun, everyone was tired, so we went to our place of stay which are D'Villa Rina Ria Lodge, Kinabalu Park ~ Kundasang...That place was really COLD!! Okay I'm a girl who live in a tropic country and going to somewhere cold really doesn't suits me well...(Mommyyyy...) Ngeh...guest no choice after all.

Same room with my twins sister, we're very lucky our bed are much bigger than the 3 of our friends..hehehehe
Dinners was prepared by our friend Gary Ting, who handles all the chicken and sausages helped by Azmi, hmm...loyal friends I guest. Poor Gary Ting that he had to face the heat as well.
Ha ~ when everybody was preparing for dinner, suddenly our lecturer a.k.a friend pop out in the middle of us and I was really suprised when I look at him. They said he's been cycling from K.K to Kundasang. WHOA!!
And yes we had dinner together, jokes, drinks, and everything... really fun though. Usually the only entertainment for me was reading books and singing inside my bedroom but actually it take more than that. Thanks to all my friends. Joy moment will not last forever but the memories surely does. Me and my twins went to bed at 1:30am in the morning.
